God of mercy,
we thank you for the first anniversary of the election of Pope Leo XIV.
Inspired by the spirit of Catherine McAuley and her love for the poor,
may he continue to lead the Church with compassion, wisdom, and peace.
Make us all instruments of your mercy
to those most in need.
May Mary, Mother of Mercy, protect him always.
