Save the date for Culture Night in Catherine's House
)
We invite you to save the date of Friday 18th September 2026 so you can step into one of Dublin’s most significant historic houses as we open the doors of Catherine’s House at 64a Lower Baggot Street for Culture Night.
Approaching its 200th anniversary, 64a Baggot Street was the home of Catherine McAuley, who founded the House of Mercy here in 1827. From these rooms grew a movement of compassion, hospitality, education, and service that has since reached communities across the world.
Join us to discover the rich heritage of this special place, explore its beautiful chapel and historic interiors, and experience the story of a house where Mercy first found its home and continues to inspire today.
