Mercy Heritage on show on Culture Night 2024
Mercy Heritage will be on show on Culture Night on Friday 20 September 2024.
Culture Night is an initiative of the Arts Council in Ireland. It is a night in September each year that celebrates culture, creativity and the arts and seeks to actively promote the belief that this rich and varied culture is alive, treasured and nurtured in people’s lives, today and every day. It is delivered nationwide in cities, towns, villages and rural locations as well as online and through our media partners.
On September 20 the doors of Catherine’s House on Baggot Street in Dublin will be open from 4.00pm until 8.00pm for guided tours, an opportunity to view the Heritage Centre and our exhibition entitled Catherine McAuley and the Mission of Mercy. We will also have an organ recital on our beautiful Telford Organ in our chapel with thanks to two students from the Royal Academy of Music - Olesia Borsuk and Christina Troup.
All are welcome. We will be live streaming some elements of the night on our Instagram Page for those unable to attend in person. If you are not following us, please do give us a follow.
