A warm welcome for the Western Province Communications Group

On Wednesday 22 January we welcomed members of the Western Province Communications Group to Mercy International Centre.

The Sisters were able to spend some time at our exhibition 'Catherine McAuley and the Mission of Mercy' which is our new permanent exhibition in our heritage room. There was great interest and engagement in the various information panels, artefacts and multimedia presentations.

The group then took part in a communications workshop with MIA's Head of Communications, Brenda Drumm.

One of the areas of focus was on sharing the Mercy story in new ways. It was a wonderful session with very generous sharing and lots of exciting plans made.

The group also availed of the famous MIC hospitality before they headed West.
